Tom, thanks for the comment. Good advice to stay away from the Craig branded converters.
These converters were suppose to be temporary solutions, but six months is unexceptionable.

I have a DISH and Radio shack converter. I’m also looking at a new TV so the converter won’t be required.
I also got a Toshiba DVD recorder with a built-in tuner for recording Over The Air programing

best advise as i’m reading here. don’t buy craig products. mine quit also. stays on standby. worked for 6 mos. it was on my wife’s tv and she now forces me to dvr soap operas and watch them at night on my satelite tv when she gets home.
