Cloudbusting

Ray Maas would have been 74 today. In honor of his birthday, Paul and Suzanne made a banana cream pie, one of dad’s favorites. I went over to share a piece and think about what else we’re missing.Earlier I was listening to Kate Bush and her song Cloudbusting

Every time it rains
You’re here in my head
Like the sun coming out
Ooh. I just know that something good is going to happen
And I don’t know when
But just saying it could even make it happen.

Happy Birthday Ray – you will never be forgotten. You were a very special person and regretfully I learned that later in life. I learned a lot from you and because of your help in our family, I have become stronger and can deal with more than I thought. Thank you – may you rest in peace
    Love, Karon, Dave and Nathan

    Karon,
Thank you for your comment. Family was very important to Ray. His legacy continues…

Dear gentle cousin, with the slow walk, the great gesture of reaching out to hug, embracing fully to let me know your gentle spirit – is love and loves me still.
